Moving day...

Moving day is finally here! We are getting away from a place we hate and going to a place we both love... It started off with uhaul messing up our reservation. We scheduled a 17 foot truck for 9 am. However that truck ended up in Albany. So they scheduled a 20 foot truck for 6:30 pm. I was very upset. Telling them that I needed to be out of my appartment by 12 pm and that I will never use uhaul again, they got me a 17 foot truck from Buffalo at 10 am. So it was a late start... Next thing was Timewarner... we had our walkthrough at 9:30 am but Timewarner wanted to get out at 8:40 am. I told them that we had the walkthrough at 9:30 and could not get in untill then. He sad that he would stop by later... While we were doing the walk through Timewarner shows up. We told him that we would be only a few more minutes. When we finished, he was gone. So we just left and packed up the truck. Around 1:30 pm Timewarner calls up and asks if this is a better time, I told him that I would be 30 minutes and he said that he would wait. When I got there, he was not... We unloaded the truck and 2 hours went by, no Timewarner. I called up Timewarner and asked about this and they told me that he had finished the job. Really? Why could he not have done this at 9:30 am or at least call me after he finished the job to tell me that is done instead of just doing the job and making me wonder in the dark. The final thing that went wrong was the bed. No matter how hard we tried we could not get the box spring up the stairs... so we have a matress with no box spring. Well dispite all that went wrong we are finalled moved... now just to unpack.

Random thoughts at 1:30 am

It's 1:30 am and I cannot sleep so what better thing to do then to update my blog, right? Well it has been an interesting 5 weeks. I have been pooped on, peed on, kept up at all hours of the night, and stressed out all thanks to Henry. But I would not have it any other way... In a few weeks Katie, Henry, and I will be moving to Farmington and we all have been busy packing and getting ready for the big move. Even though Henry is too young to help pack he has been helping by sleeping more in the night. Getting up only 2 times a night is much better then once ever hour! So the extra sleep has been a great help. We are glad that we will be moving out of our current apartment because we have had nothing but bad experiences with Westview Commons. At first everything seemed great. The apartment looked really nice and the neighborhood seemed great. However when we moved in we saw it for what it really was. The neighbors are really bad and when we needed maintenance done it was done half way. We had one neighbor next to us who would constantly be fighting with each other about stupid things and the fights got so bad that it seemed that on room mate was killing the other. Then we had a neighbor downstairs who after the first hour of moving into the apartment called the office to complain about our dog. Then he had the audacity to talk to me when we got home and tell me to basically keep my dog quiet because he pay a lot of money to live here. Really? I thought everyone got to live there for free. Even though we pay more for living in an upstairs apartment with a dog we have to do as you say... but you can keep you TV so loud that we can hear what your watching as if we have our TV on. I hope Henry kept you up at night with his crying... and that you tried to complain to the office about it. Anyway, we are glad that we are getting away from this dump. Well I better finish this as I hear Henry starting to wake up...

The Birth of Henry Benton Wade

Today is a wonderful day. Henry has finally come into this world. Words cannot describe how I am feeling right now and I still cannot believe that I am a father. Looking at my son I am just filled with such joy and now I have to better myself so that I can be a great father to him. I know that things will never be the same again but I would not have them any other way.

Lots of Updates

So I did not post for a while so I will post a long post to make it up. Lots have happened. At the end of March we found out that we will be having a baby BOY!!! Being married is defiantly a change, especially when there is a baby on the way. I did not expect having a kid let alone getting married. I cannot believe how fast time has gone by... Katie is now 34 weeks and our little bundle of joy will be here in no time.

Towards the end of June there was a bit of a scare... Katie started to go into contractions while she was 31 weeks. I was really scared that the baby would come too early and have lots of problems. Those fears got worse when it happened two more times. So now she is on bed rest and I am her little servant. On 1 July I got really sick at work and had to take a half day. I think all of the ink fumes are getting to me. Hopefully everything is ok. Katie and I had a nice quiet 4th of July with family. That sums up everything that has happened so far... I will post more as it happens.

The Ultrasound

It was amazing to see the baby for the first time... even though I did not see much. At first the baby was spinning around so it was a little hard to get a good picture at first. Once the baby stop we got a good picture and heard the heart beat, which was a great thing to hear. According to the ultrasound, Katie is 10 and a half weeks and the due date is 20 Aug 2011. I cannot wait to see a better picture and find out the gender of the baby.

Here is a copy a screenshot of the Ultrasound
